Kate Spade New York‘s colorful and whimsical accessories have been keeping my attention as of late, and when I spied the Knock On Wood Car Clutch I fell deeply in love. After browsing Zappos I went directly to the store to look this beauty over as I possess a passion for all cars retro. I had a hard time drawing myself away (good thing my boyfriend was there, otherwise I would have forgotten about groceries and just bought the damn thing!), and since I don’t own a single clutch I was suddenly dreaming of Sunday brunch or a downtown stroll accompanied by Kate Spade’s charming woodie.
bring on the boots
As the weather slowly but surely gets colder, I’m beginning to dream of sturdy and stylish boots to keep my feet warm and toasty. I obviously love lace-ups, seeing as three out of four have top to toe laces. I’ve had my eye on the black Jeffrey Campbell Joe boots for over a year, but the price has kept me at bay.
These boots are all works of art in my opinion. I consider myself very picky about shoes; I’m always in search of the perfect heel, wedge, boot, you name it. Sometimes I fantasize about becoming an accessories/shoe designer, and taking all my favorite elements of shoes and such to create my ideal (insert everything here). But I’m not sure if my brain really works like that… I’ve never tried to design anything wearable. I don’t know if I could pull it off! But I suppose I’ll find out soon enough when I attempt some DIY projects in the near future.
