iphone it in

modeandthelikekatespadewishlistWith the whole tech world abuzz about the iPhone 5 (not to mention Steve Jobs), I am patiently awaiting its release so that the price of the iPhone 4 will go down.  I’ve had my iPhone 3GS since 2009.  It’s in good condition, since I attempt to take care of all my possessions in the most diligent way possible.  The only real mishap I ever had was during my first weekend with it, when it slipped out of my hand as I exited my friend’s car.  Since we had just parked in San Francisco, you can imagine my horror as it slid down the steep street, passing under car after car on its way to the bottom.  I was wearing slippery-heeled boots, so my friend raced down and caught it before the phone could reach the busy intersection below.  I’ve kept it near me ever since, and the phone has endured without a scratch.

But now, I feel like it’s time for change.  I don’t want to buy an iPhone 4 when my 3GS works perfectly, but FaceTime seems so cool (though I don’t know anyone with an iPhone 4?) and companies make the most beautiful cases for them.  I currently have a rubber Kate Spade NY case for my phone, but it’s been over a year since I bought it.  If I had my way I’d buy all of the cases above and switch ‘em up whenever I felt like it!  (I’d probably miss my iPhone 3Gs if I exchanged it though… Sigh.)
