A couple of weeks ago, I subtly alluded to the fact that I finally graduated from college. As amazing as that feels, I’m now hunting for a job and am cursing myself for being a spender instead of a saver. I guess you could say I’m at a quarter-life crisis… I mean, what the hell am I going to do with my life!? To combat feelings of aimlessness and despair, I’ve been reading some career-related memoirs and self-improvement books (more on that in the coming weeks). I’ve also taken to lunching at home (if you can call microwaveable meals or chopped romaine, carrots, and Ranch dressing lunch) in order to save money (and as an excuse to remain in my pajamas all day). Ah, summer in the city.

On an unrelated note, I’m loving how bizarre and off-kilter this imagery is. Today I feel like one exquisitely-painted toenail that’s busting through a pair of sheer socks, and I’m okay with that.
